Terms and Conditions of Service

These Terms and Conditions ("Agreement") outline the rules and regulations for the use of Starlight Studios' services, located at 5400 Hollywood Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90028, and operated by Celestial Visions Inc. By booking a studio or using any of our services, you ("Client") agree to be bound by this Agreement.

1. Studio Rental Agreement

• Booking and Payment: Studio bookings are confirmed upon receipt of a deposit. Full payment is due prior to the commencement of the rental period. We accept payments via credit card, debit card, and bank transfer. Checks are not accepted.
• Cancellation Policy: Cancellations made more than 72 hours before the scheduled rental period will receive a full refund. Cancellations made within 72 hours of the rental period will forfeit the deposit. No-shows will be charged the full rental fee.
• Studio Usage: The studio must be used for photography or videography purposes only. Any other use is strictly prohibited and may result in immediate termination of the rental agreement.
• Hours of Operation: Starlight Studios operates from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM, seven days a week. Rentals outside of these hours may be arranged subject to availability and additional fees.

2. Equipment Rental

• Equipment Condition: All equipment is provided in good working condition. Clients are responsible for inspecting the equipment upon receipt and reporting any defects or damages immediately.
• Liability for Damage: Clients are responsible for any damage to equipment during the rental period, regardless of fault. Repair or replacement costs will be assessed and charged to the Client.
• Prohibited Use: Equipment must be used in accordance with manufacturer guidelines. Unauthorized modifications or alterations are strictly prohibited. Subleasing of rented equipment is not permitted.

3. Conduct and Safety

• Responsible Conduct: Clients are expected to conduct themselves in a professional and respectful manner. Excessive noise, disruptive behavior, or any activity that may disturb other studio users is prohibited.
• Safety Regulations: Clients must adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines provided by Starlight Studios staff. Use of hazardous materials or open flames is strictly prohibited without prior written consent.
• Supervision of Minors: If minors are present in the studio, they must be supervised at all times by a responsible adult.

4. Intellectual Property

• Ownership of Content: Clients retain all rights to the images and videos created during the rental period. Starlight Studios claims no ownership or copyright interest in Client-generated content.
• Model Releases: Clients are responsible for obtaining appropriate model releases for any individuals appearing in their photographs or videos. Starlight Studios is not liable for any claims arising from the use of images without proper releases.
• Use of Starlight Studios Imagery: Clients may not use Starlight Studios' name, logo, or any other proprietary materials without prior written consent.

5. Liability and Indemnification

• Limitation of Liability: Starlight Studios is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our studios or services, including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of data, or personal injury.
• Indemnification: Clients agree to indemnify and hold harmless Starlight Studios, Celestial Visions Inc., its officers, employees, and agents from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, and expenses arising from their use of the studio, equipment, or services.

6. Termination

• Breach of Agreement: Starlight Studios reserves the right to terminate this Agreement immediately if the Client breaches any of the terms and conditions outlined herein.
• Refund Policy: In the event of termination due to breach of agreement, no refunds will be issued.
• Right to Refuse Service: Starlight Studios reserves the right to refuse service to any individual or entity at its discretion.

7. Governing Law

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any legal action arising from this Agreement shall be brought in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California.

8. Amendments

Starlight Studios reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updated terms will be posted on our website, and Clients are responsible for reviewing the most current version of the Agreement.

10. Studio Rules and Regulations

In addition to the above Terms and Conditions, clients must adhere to the following rules and regulations while using Starlight Studios:

1. Maintain a clean and orderly studio environment. All trash must be disposed of properly, and equipment should be returned to its designated storage area.
2. Respect the privacy of other studio users. Avoid excessive noise or any activity that may disrupt their work.
3. No smoking is allowed inside the studio premises.
4. Consumption of alcohol is prohibited without prior written consent from Starlight Studios management.
5. Pets are not allowed in the studio without prior approval.
6. Clients are responsible for securing their personal belongings. Starlight Studios is not liable for any loss or theft.

11. Additional Services

Starlight Studios offers a variety of additional services to enhance your photography experience:

• On-site Photography Assistant: Our experienced assistants can provide support with lighting, equipment setup, and other technical tasks.
• Professional Retouching: Enhance your images with our high-quality retouching services.
• Catering Services: We can arrange for meals and refreshments to be provided for your crew.
